After-school AI classes for high school students

About the program

For students at a vocational high school, AI is not general knowledge — it is part of preparing for a job. They enter the workforce soon, so what they learn has to end up in a resume or a portfolio. The course ran as an after-school class across nine sessions. It started with ChatGPT fundamentals and moved into image generation and slide decks, the kind of work students can actually show. Rather than cramming, we stretched it over more sessions so students could build something and carry it into the next class.
