Producing technical videos with AI
About the program
Extension videos made centrally and pushed out to the regions cannot keep up with what happens in the field. The regions need to be able to make them, so the right content appears when it is needed. The course was designed for officers with no video production experience. It started by taking existing agricultural technology videos apart to understand which shots are needed, then followed a single production from thumbnail and storyboard through AI image and video generation to the final edit. The goal was for everyone to leave holding a finished video of their own. Copyright checks and the upload procedure were covered too, so the video ended ready to publish.

How it ran
A pre-survey in each region set the level before the difficulty was fixed
Licensed tools provided, so practice ran on current models without free-tier limits
Video work depends on bandwidth, so the venue line was checked in advance and a backup prepared
An assistant instructor on site to run practice and help individually
